ESPN's Free Weekend, sponsored by Nokia Lumia, begins at 6am on Friday February 3 and will make ESPN and ESPN HD available to all Sky, TopUp TV and BT Vision subscribers in the UK and Ireland. Additionally, the channel will be available for free to the 10 million UK households who have the subscription-free digital TV service Freeview, meaning that in total, some 20 million UK households will have free access to the channel.

I've just tuned into the ESPN channels on my Dreambox / freesat set-up, but nothing is showing up. Do I as a minimum need a Sly card?

I can't confirm this but on satellite, (skyuk box) you need a minimum package.

On freeview (DTV), you get this for free on ch 34
