Which sat shows super league rugby apart from sky ?
Is there a card that we can buy ?
If so how much and where from ?
A lot of pubs have contacted me all panicking cos rugby starts today and they all cancelled their sky sub and gone over to Viasat

I am sure you did advise them at the time that Viasat was mainly for football & not Rugby League.

Have just looked on Lj's & there is very little option apart from Sky.

This is where Sky could really cash in & have a NON Premeir League package at a fraction of the cost of their full sports package.

This would allow Sky to keep customers & allow thier customers to still have the other
sports apart from the Premier League.

Thats the prob with foreign subs, Great replacement for footy but theres no replacement for sky's sport coverage.
I always advise, if you only want footy get a card, if you need good sports coverage stay with sky.

yes i told them when i installed their systems and they never really said any thing , now there panicking ,
the ntv channel on 36e does any one know if there is a card for that ? and im not even gonna try and get osn

Rugby League is one of those sports which is not well covered in Europe so people just have to live with it if they don't want sky.

Darts is covered quite well in Holland & Germany so that is ok.

Cricket has little coverage, sometimes on Nova Greece

Rugby Union does get some coverage as France & Italy play this more than League.

Rugby league isnt a massive sport i will agree but where i am in Leigh it is massive and i can name at least 50 pubs tonite that are gonna be dead cos of the lack of customers looks like they need to be contacting planning so they can get there 3 metre dishes put up in there beer gardens and get a osn card
or go back to sky
unless somebody can find another option

Yes, i know your area is more a Rugby League area.

Would it not be cheaper for them all to actually go to the games, rather than have 7 or 8 pints in a pub as i bet they would spend as much in the pub as going to the game.

It would seem that Sky have got those pubs by the bollocks then.

We'll see what happens in the long term when the money starts to run out for Rugby League because Sky are pricing themsleves to high, Sky may be forced to bring in separate subs for different sports in the future.

i can pick up the ntv plus spor channel on 36e but im woundering if there are genuine cards out there to buy
