I will be doing a multi lnb setup soon setting it for 39 east 28 east and 19 east. so my question here guys is would i be better to cover other lnbs when setting it up. Also what sat is best for me to be the prime focus? i was thinking 28 east as its in the middle of the two others, would this be correct?. ps didn,t want to start another thread as i thought this relevant to the posts so far. many thanks for any replys

no you wont have to cover up lnb,s as you do each one separately , starting with the prime focus

I would say 28e seems suitable for the prime focus as you say, or 19e , depends on your lnb rack

The lnb holder is that fits all type. 0-0-0 That kind

Will i have to do the lnbs the opposite way around. Will 19 east be in the postion of 39 east and vice versa if my prime focus is 28. I saw someone post its like kicking a ball against a wall at an angle. so if the lnb was in 39 east postion i should then try and turn in 19 east????? and again vice versa?????. Ive linned up on the prime on 28 and its fine so just a matter of fiddling about if some kind person can put me in the right direction.

Ok thanks manic so from looking from behind the dish 19 east will then be to the left of 28 then and 39 to the right of 28. Any idea what elevation of each im in northern ireland if that matters. 54.4 lat -6.4 east. many thanks for getting in touch.

Yes opposite way round to whre they really are.
Ramjet did good explanation on it on here somewhere.
As for elevation no idea sorry.

Thanks for the help ive got it set up at the minute and im getting 81 upwards quality on 19 east 89 upwards on the prime focus lnb on 28 east, but im only getting 65 on 39 east. Im getting a picture on 39 east have tried nova sports and its fine but i think with the rain i will get a bit of fadding and picture breakup. So any tips greatly appreciated thanks guys.

39 east is a bit tricky on your set up,
its just the matter of finding the right spot
for your lnb to sit and the correct skew setting,
you could adjust the elevation slightly but you will
then loose some quality on your other sats
but saying that you have 65% that is pretty good

39E is lower in the sky than 28E so the 39E lnb will need to be higher on the rail it will depend on your bracket how you achieve this.
