I bought 2 TM-1 Technomate 0.1db LNB's and find they lock causing channels to disappear, can't remember if it's the Vertical or Horizontal. I have tried one on an 80cm dish aligned to 13E Cyfra+, and i keep have to switch the box off/on to get it working with all channels reappearing again. I tried the other Technomate LNB on a Humax Freesat out of curiosity and happens with that system too. Checked the WF100 cable and as it's a short run, changed both cables. But it still happening. The strange thing is on a Horizon meter it says cable and LNB are working ok! Any ideas? What could i be doing wrong? Technomate said they have no idea what's wrong but sort of said in a roundabout way it's not their LNB's but i have a short somewhere on both systems, or doing something wrong! I'd love to find out what i'm doing wrong to cure this.

Yes i checked that with the F connectors, but it still happens after going up and down the channels with the remote, or after a few hours on the one channel. Is there any setting different to be using on a universal LNB? This is a mystery! Even the Meter is saying no fault, Cable and LNB pass.
I was thinking it might be the switching to the HI and Lo on the Universal LNB but there again, i don't know!
To keep switching off and on at the mains plug is something i shouldn't have to be doing all the time.Comment

The Freesat Humax box which i tried the second Technomate TM-1 on which also locks, works ok with a sky quad lnb. It's just i can't get the Technomate LNB's to work properly without locking and have to go through the switching off/on all the time at the mains.
On the 80cm Triax Hotbird 13E Cyfra+, There's a brilliant signal on Hotbird with the TM-1 considering so far west i'm located. It's 89 and 90%. Pity it keeps locking or freezing.Comment

No cordless DECT phone nearby. But you have got me thinking about something! I have the coax running through the loft. Maybe could be near to mains cable that are running through the loft. I'll have to check that one out. Maybe that's what causing this freezing up thing! I laid the coax on top of the insulation but didn't check what was underneath.Comment
