Diablo cam or card sharing or cccam?

iv recently moved into a all satellite area and previously was using the open media 500cs for receiving cable.

1st question. I live in the North (Middlesbrough) and i was going to get a 85cm dish. Will that be adequate enough or shud i get the 1m. Just think the 1ms a bit big for the house .

Secondly im not sure what set up will be best ie the most reliable, get most channels etc and im not yet sure all of the ins and outs of how it all works as satellite looks miles more complex than cable. Would appreciate ppls opinions and help.

Would i be best to get the diablo cam and programmer baring in mind its ?150 (is it worth it etc) or give card sharing ago (baring in mind i dont have a subscription so might struggle to get some good clines) OR would just using cccam be good enough (do i need a sat card for this)

What im afta is pretty much the basic sky channels eg music, entertainment channels etc and some sports and movies.

Could someone please advise me on what i would get out of each option and what would be best.

    cheers

Good start you seem to know what your talking about, with the receiver you have the best thing you could do for sky channels is cardshare but allow that, get yourself a 90cm dish minimum and a motor, then get a diablo cam and programmer..this will cost you about 230pounds but with all this you will get atleast 310 of 380 prem games, you will get kids, documentaries, adult and movies..they may not be in english but this is the best you can do for 250quid..

Great thanks. I was definatly goin to go for a motorised set up might just go for a 95cm So is the diablo cam worth it's money? Or is it best just to card share?

What's the sort of difference in the type and amount of channels you get between the two.

How easy would it be to get decent shares with out a good package to share. Would I probely just end up with wot I got off diablo or do you get lots more out of the shares?

      Thanks alot

I have no experience with cardshare and discussions about that is against the rules..
Diablo cam is definately worth the money as dark days loom ahead for those who dont have a cam or card..

So with the cas 3 programmer can you just update the cam all the time? Is there new updates that come out to add more channels and unblock ones that get blocked?

          Cheers

the cas 3 is to load the files only and files do get posted when needed
to get the channels back after a key change etc: the cam opens most channels on these four satellites 16e 9e 1w and 8w

How often do the keys change? Is it about the same as cable (every 6 mth or so) im just not sure whether to just get a preloaded diablo for now or get the cas 3 straight away.

Thanks Ryan8188, your asking all the questions I need answers to . Does anyone know if the receiver that comes with the Pioneer TV (KRP-M01) works with the diablo? Also can someone recommend a satellite Dish ( up to 1 metre) and a motor for said receiver. Apologies if I'm hijacking the thread......

1 more question. Will i get pretty much every thing that is on sky with a diablo cam but obviously of different sats/channels etc.

Also will i still get the UK freeview?

You will get uk freesat and everything on sky from other sats apart from sky one sky two etc..but they may not be english..
A diablo cam needs to be programmed once every 5days(ish)..
