if you system is set up correctly (lat/long in usals, pole plumb, lat on motor correct)it could be line of site issue as its pretty low on the horizon or your system could need tweaking as you notice slight mis-alignment issues more at the extremes of the arc, regards mdtDM800HDSE SIM 2.10. you could try 36e or 42e/45e to see if its line of site but if its mis-alignment try 33e/36e. go to kos or flysat and make sure you have active transponders in your list/xml or you wont get a signal either way, regards mdtDM800HDSE SIM 2.10. you will be spending money for nothing m8... just have a little patience and you will sort it in the end, what satellites can you recieve??? most motorised systems should recieve a minimum of 30e to 30w but more like 45e to 45w if set up correctly. if the system is set up properly then it can only be a line of site issue thats stopping you from recieving 45e/42e/39e. regards mdtDM800HDSE SIM 2.10. well he would say that but that dish should still get you 39E no problem(line of sight permitting) and the fitter should have checked all available sats before leaving as thats what your paying for.Comment

Hi stew. A couple of points to consider which may help.
1) Is your motor actually moving? If your motor is not working then you may not get any signals picked up by the LNB. In case you did not know the LNB is the device which sits on an arm at the end of your dish which sends signals from dish to your receiver. If your dish is not moving have the cable connections checked out. The motors usually have a green light on to indicate that the cable is connected to the receiver.
2) If you are happy that the dish is moving send it to a satellite that you know has been working ie FREESAT at 28.2 east.( this is the BBC, ITV etc satellites) If you get a picture thats fine because it means the LNB is working also.
3) if you dont get a picture on the satellite that was working ok before then you may have problem with dish alignment or LNB cable or LNB itself not working.
4) If you have never had any channels working from day one(hard to believe) then get the installer to reset it up for you if possible.
If you get satellite at 28.2 ok then the Greek sat at 39 east is not too far away it may just need fine tuning. Let us know how you get on. Regards.Comment
