Hi stew. That sounds like good news to me if you get 28 east. To help you to get 39 east try the following:
a) Do you have 39 east satellite listed when you press the SAT button on remote? If you have it select it and let USALS drive dish towards 39 east. If you dont have it in your SAT list go to step (c) below.
b) When dish stops see if you can do a BLIND SEARCH/SCAN. I dont know if your receiver allows you to do BLIND searches. If it does allow it to do the scan and see if it finds any TP's(frequencies). If it does NOT find anything it probably means that your dish needs slight adjustments. The reason for doing BLIND scans is that you may have TP's in your receiver setup but they maybe wrong or out of date. The BLIND search will do a complete scan of the satellite and give you an updated frequency/channel list. BLIND searches are also a good indicator on whether your dish is properly aligned to a satellite.
c) If you do not have 39 east in your SAT list then use the GOTO option in motor menu to send it to 39 east. This will move the dish from 28.2 east to 39 east (we hope).
d) When dish stops try the BLIND search option and see if you get anything.
e)If you dont have the BLIND search option then you will need to check if you have the following TP's(frequencies ) in your TRANSPONDER list:
11055 VERTICAL s/r 30000
12597 VERTICAL s/r 30000
12688 HORIZONTAL s/r 30000 - For NOVASPORT footy
12524 HORIZONTAL s/r 30000 - This is for DIEMA footy
12565 HORIZONTAL s/r 30000
Make sure you have the above frequencies in your list and when dish stops see if you get a signal on any of them. Try and give it a go and see how you get on. If further help is required let us know as you may need to adjust your dish or settings. As you get most of the other sats then you cannot be too far off this one. Regards.
