i cannot afford those good quality boxes, so my only hope is this Amiko allien.
so can anybody, who used/using it, confirm either that it is good for the price or worthless for the price

If you have any experience with Dreamboxes & other Linux boxes using your PC to communicate & send files to the box, then you'll be ok with the Amiko alien 2.

However, if you have only used things like openboxes, then you will struggle at 1st as you would with Dreamboxes & will need to do a lot of reading.

If you use the Spark system, then things are much easier & can all be done via the remote control.

As Digicon, says, have a read through the thread about this box.

I am happy with mine for sure.

was thinking about getting a blade but looking at the spec not too bad for that price and you get two dvbs-2 tuners. i know all the german satellite magazines have this product on the front pages. but just want to get people thoughts on the box and if anybody here has got one of them .
or should i just play it safe and buy a blade.
              tell me what you think

and 1 more thing whats HBBTV
I have the triple tuner version. Great receiver, and some great images for it, HDMU, Open pli and more, supports auto bouquets as well, great plug-ins as well, Ive installed different images on this great box for the price. supports oscam in e2.
