On my laptop keyboard star is on top of key 8 , press shift+8 .

Hi Tony mate,
No, I meant the keyboard of the receiver. There must be a combination of keys to press to bring up the *. I am trying to enter a c line manually on the receiver. I cannot see the * button on it anywhere.

Yes , Their is no option to wirte star sign .
Its easy to add C line by usb.
Make a text file plain.text . Put C or N line as mentioned in the sample format below then save it.

{n,port,dyndns.com,username,pass,01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14}
{c,port,dyndns.com,username,pass}

Attach USB to STB Enter into supper setting , select CCcam then select 'Green Button'
Then select your connection text file then press ok and your C line will appear press connect
''Login Success'' will appear then press 2/3 times exit exit to save the data.

Box Stuck with "LOAD" displayed

Major Problem - please help

Well i turned on my box today and on the front of the box is stuck with the word "LOAD"

i havent touched it since the other night when i was trying to update the firmware.

My screen is stuck on some sort of option menu with the title "Download from TS" at the top

There is no way for me to exit this menu, i am forced to choose an option in 22K ON/OFF/AUTO

and no matter what option i choose at the top it takes me to a second screen that just stays stuck at "Finding Upgrade Info" but doesnt do anything from this screen.

I have tried unplugging the box and all the buttons on the remote and nothing will allow me to exit from this menu screen, the box boots up to this screen every time.

Can anybody help?

HI BATFINK547,
Rename the last firmware you used to rom.bin .
Format usb and save rom.bin in it.
Switch off receiver and attach usb to receiver.
press and hold Menu button and switch On receiver.
Tv scareen will shows the progress of upload .
At the end successfully uploaded message will appear.
Thats it.

Thanks Tony that got me out of that fix, thank goodness, need my tv for the kid, channels are still all over the place, im going to hate deleting about 30 different channel 4's for example

i used the all flash.bin file you gave me but it didnt have any updated channel list, should i use a different firmware to get the updated channel list with favourites?

yes if you downgrade the older fimrware V3143 it will do the job.
