Marusys - Prism Cube looks like another AZBox hybrid. In fact the interface looks almost identical (puke). I already fear therefore potentially another short lived flash in the pan. I'd seriously NOT want to be the first in line to buy that box.

Alien2??? Spark??? If spark is so good which it is not, why include the option to use E2 as well? To satisfy E2 enthusiasts? No serious E2 enthusiast would be the slightest bit interested in a box that offered E2 as the second fiddle.

Has to be Solo2 or still the SE DM800HD. Only because the DM's & their clones are still the best supported STB's on the planet.

After all even the suprb VU+ range are really DM wannabe's in disguise.

When are manufacturers going to realise that only cheapskates and the ignorant by boxes because they are cheap.

OH! my goodness you cant go round saying things like thst you will upset a certain fraternity of users with those remarks :-)

But personally i could not agree more the DM800se is a hard act to follow image wise, and i cant see a lot of the teams doing images for the clones coming over to the Vu's until the DM market slowly dies a death which wont be anytime soon.

From what I have read Enigma 2 has come on leaps and bounds in the last few months.
The Hdmu image is now very stable.
I asked an owner of 2 Vu+ Duos what he thought of the Alien 2

I have 2 Vu Duo's and one of these receivers, The GM T2 version. I am very impressed with this receiver. Its just as stable. Obviously the inbuilt T2 tuner is a big advantage over the Duo. No need for usb dtt stick, No crashing when recording dtt channels.

The only negative is some plugins are not yet compatable with this receiver. In saying that, All the plugins I use on the Duo's are working on this receiver bar one.
All in all this receiver is excellent value for money...
