New Sky white Card

Nothing is going to happen untill Sky N*S are happy that all cards are issued to customers, then a series or Firmware updates will take place in the early hours of some morning to come soon ! this update will overwrite the present instructions for the blue card to operate, at the moment the white card will work on the old settings but once updated it will activate all the newer features ...

If you have entered the white card into your receiver all it has done is paired your receiver with that card it still running on the older setings thats why there are stuttering and strugling to function properly (as mentioned before its likely that N*S have quickened up the Rom to clamp down on C/S) For C/S to function after this Card update and the firmware via satellite a newer version of CCcam will have to written....

The white card works somewhat at the moment but once new instructions are sent out via satellite transmitions and the pending Firmware update, Then it will no longer function untill addressed by Cam developers.

The white card 100% works at the moment.
yes its true that sky will update there cards after all customers have been cut over but that could be months to a year before fully done.

Another way to look at it is sky always update there cards the encryption has been changed and sky are tied to that for 4 years i believe.so there is only so much that can be changed.

Another thing to pop up on a few fourms is that Sky / Premiere Germany are also to change card again over the next few months Seeing as the newly issued cards have of course Premiere written on them, Sky Deutchland are to change all new customers Cards followed by older Premiere card holders, and updates to the Encryption regarding NDS can and I am sure will take place.

Remembering Sky are NDS due to been apart of the Newscorp Copmany Premiere is now a Sky registered company as of today

Also mentioned Betacrypt and Nagravision ar supposed to be in talkes with the new Sky Deutchland in a bid to buy out the remainding contracts held by the two other encryptions companys. (This of course will take time and money so nothing will probably happen untill next year)

Its already changed provider if you do a new scan on your Dreambox and then look in providers the channel names are due to be renamed and new channels added on the 6th ...

Cheers..i was thinking of doing a whole new blind scan on 19e when on the actual premiere channels the name in the corner changed..

I didnt need to rescan though..?? Just went to PROVIDERS then PREMIERE and the channel names had changed to Sky Cinema and Sky Sport Info

Mine still called premiere on my channel list..not checked the providers..

New channels added are Sky Comedy, Emotion, Krimi, Sports1 and 2----other channels to be rebranded shortly under the umbrella name Sky Premiere Deutchland.
New White card can and does work in Dreams using CCcam2.11 + NewCS166. Picture very clear and stable although card does tend to run slightly hotter than normal so ensure large airflow area around box.
C+ nederlands doing a Sky at moment---fta to gain subscriptions and changeover of cards.

Hi

Has anyone got a definitive guide on how to get these new white sky cards running and card sharing in the dreambox 500,600 and 800?
Ive searched all over and not found a detailed guide on how to?
Im currently using a d500 with cccam2.1.2 and it shares fine with no freezing.
Hope someone can shed some light on this, and set the record straight.
