      the winds been blowing my motorized dish about a lot just now, when we moved in here a time ago they was still is a sly mini dish on 28 east the folks before left it, so i have that one for my selion never really took any notice of it to be honest till the winds a few years ago, but its come in handy now and then after all

        i have had a giibbi 1m hight above me gable end.

        on polar mount kit and actuator , we get battered up here . mines never moved , for years..what i do is if its going to be windy i tuck me dish into the roof .

        would of loved to ground mount but impossible due to my house postion..
        dreambox 800 tech 500 ( ubuntu 10 .04)... 1 m dish v box 2 acuator ..

          I have a similar setup the Gibertini 1.25m on Poar with 18" Actuator which is as solid as a rock on a 3" Diameter Pole again Mounted above Gutter height, Thats what i love about Polar mounts and Actuator you can still move the dish in high winds without fear of damaging the motor i would never attempt this with my previous dark Motor and TD110 it was all over the place.
