I am considering the box that you have rather than the dreambox ryan(its rated as the best box according to a site i seen it on),what would you advise?does the TM come with 5 cards pre-installed or is it just the one I'm looking at?Also could you tell me if the Nagra3 change will have any effect on CS? ...cheers guys!!

No you can still watch Nag 3 encrypted channels and NDS but you need to be connected to a good server to get these freeze free as keys change every few secs.

Some providers like sky uk are changing there cards to try and stop them being shared but its not working as updates usually solve this as sky italy have changed there's recently and you can still share them.

Not sure what you mean about cards installed etc. The tm just comes with a tm image on it. It needs to be flashed with a latest image like edg 4.4 then a emu like cccam installed and keys which can be done via the remote if plugged into your router. If you want to c/s you need to find ppl to share with as tm dont have there own server.

I cant comment on the ip box as i havent had a play with one. But sure terriers will give you more info on it. The tm is a great box for its price. It looks the part and has a lot of support. ?130 for a linux,PVR,2 card slots, ci slot, card reader and optical output etc. bargin!!! Also tm is a well known name as they make loads of sat receivers. You can also use the dreambox apps like dream edit, dcc etc and E1 plugins.

I got one of these and a 95cm motorised system and never looked back. Can pick up everything (apart from showtime )

well guys ....after changing my mind back and forth over 20 times I purchased a Dreambox 500-S for ?70(probly could've got one cheaper, but i'm happy!)I'm gonna buy a motorised 90cm or 1m dish in the next 2 weeks but I have decided even though I could get me mate to give me a hand with installation I am gonna just pay a sat installer.Any ideas how much an installation would cost??100 max is really all i'd like to go but I don't know install costs.

You will need to change rotor settings or motor settings to usals
