nannoxx 9600 ip

Hi everyone,

i think terriers can help me with this. I notice you have a nannoxx 9600 ip, is the protek 9600 ip the same as, also a bit of info. how often does it need upgrading, where can i download software from etc. i have been thinking for a while about getting one, i currently have a tm5600 super also is this worth keeping, especially with all the talk of encryption changes.

Hi codge..
yes the protek is the same as the nanoxx and can run
off the same server too...you will get plenty of good chnls covering sport,movies,docs,~~~~ etc and the server is very stable with no picture freezing...i have only had to make 1 minor
update in 2months and this took a few seconds and can be downloaded directly onto the box from their support site..also i have all the settings and could help you set it up...

you will get 10 times the amount of chnls that the diablo could
open..and once u buy the box its all free..

also with your tm you could run a loop from it to your second
box and still use the tm for dish positioning like i do...and i would
highly recommend this box to all you guys as a cheap and easy
way of getting into this side of things..

why certain guys on here want to knock it is beyond me

been searching to find you one cheaper sadiq and everyone
seems to have upped their price!! the cheapest so far is 129..

but you could try the protek which is a copy of the nanoxx and
runs on the same firmware,software and is externally more pleasing..

just a little more info about this box..
originally their server was asia based and frought with problems
chanels dropping,freezing etc and in the end they had to close it
down...
a few months later they came back with a europe based server
only supplying european packages and since then it has been very stable,,no pics freezing,,this has been the case for a few months now with no problems to date..

as we know nothing lasts forever!! but if the server ever went
down,theres nothing stopping us joining another server,as this
box is able to do so....

Max 1000 also works on this server (I'm using two of them). Some Premiere channels (Astra1 19.2e) are back but do have freezing problems all else is fine.

prem and turksat are on different newcamd servers to other
packages and work fine with latest t55 software....
also if you know of any more free newcamd servers can you pm
me them please,,ive got room for 2 more....cheers

Terriers I wonder if you can help me - I got fed up with the teething problems and shelved my max1000 in January. I have now brought it back to life but can't find working software, All my bookmarks to sites have gone down. I have just subscribed to a pay server but need the correct sw - hope you can help

Hi m8....you need these 2 bits of s/ware on your box to make it work again...they are t57 and k19...you will be able to load this s/ware onto your box using the webloader if your current t s/ware is in the fifties say t55...they are available at www.***downloads.co.uk
Also to get your ***server to work you will have to set up the newcamd settings ie input server details and switch it on..note the free server wont work while newcamd is switched on...to view free server just switch newcamd off..

Many thanks m8, will try that when I get home later. I have all my newcamd settings and only seem to unlock some channels. I did have the boris s/w which unlocked all my sub channels. Currently have 1.40 k:99 which gets me about 2 channels . Will let you know how I get on - thanks again
