If your Cable run is over say 25m then you will notice a difference using any WF/TX100 pure copper cable, But personally on a short run you wont miss anything. Now if you said to me you where installing a 1m dish with Black Ultra and your main aim was to try and get 26? east and 7? west then even if you cable run was 5m i would say use quality cable such as WF/TX100 as this could mean the difference between getting a signal lock on a TP, The WF100 would squeeze that little bit extra out for you.

So to sum up if your just after the main strong Birds then RG6 will be fine if you want that extra 0.5db of signal then either WF100 or TX100 or similar full copper core will give it you.

I used shotgun WF100 cable for mine. Probably over the top a bit though and more difficult to work with.

Ring Vanjak Rigging Supplies. Suppliers of Satellite and Aerial Equipment in Magherafelt for prices.
