in answer to a previous post, the T-K brackets are a lot easier to get plumb than a wall mounted flat plate

T-K brackets can be adjusted left and right, and in and out, until the whole scaffold pole is plumb

flat plates need washers and things adding under the corners until the pole itself is plumb (basically you pack the corners as needed)

as for lining up, there are several posts including stickies on doing this, but in essence the ZERO on the motor points to true south, so that is exact south, not magnetic south, and depending on location it may point straight towards a satellite, although not quite in your case

the easiest method is to use usals, put your location into your box and send it to 0.8 west on bbc world news, then adjust the left/ right on the pole and dish up/down on its elevation adjuster until bbc world news is booming in, then lock up and check other satellites, fine tuning to peak signals across the range. your latitude should be locked on the motor elevation, so if you were at 52.1 North you lock it at 52.1 N - and leave it alone

most people`s dishes point south east , not south , generally they point at 28.2e which is south east
the chances are that most of these walls are east facing like the ones in my street ! , or south east facing , not south facing

the sun rises in the east and sets in the west !! - simples (and moss grows on the north side of any surface, but not the south side)
so you just check where the sun is at noon and that is south

you could use a simple compass to find south, or use a compass app on a smartphone or tablet

or you could put your location into dishpointer, put the dish icon onto your house, and select 0.8w in order to "see" where south is from a birds eye view

you can even use a map like bing maps, the possibilities are endless

As ramjet has clearly explained in an ideal world you would have a south facing wall for ease of installation, again as explained the reason being is the satellite ARC is South-East to South-West.

A dish can be installed on any wall of your choosing as long has it has the view i specified above and of course it also has a clear line of sight. this may involve a longer pole mount so that the dish can see over a wall/roof etc...

depends how far away your house is away from their house, too close and the signal is blocked by their roof, but raising it to a higher level on your wall may mean the signals are received coming from above their roof

in simple terms, the lower the dish and the closer their property is to your property , the more chance of signal blocking

dishpointer should have indicated if their was clear line of sight or a blockage in the way

the zero points at true south, which is close to 0.8w in your case, the motor should be in the middle of the upright pole, or towards the top of it

if you are using USALS then set your location in your sat box and send it to 0.8w and choose bbc world news , the motor will move to 0.8w (close to zero)

make sure that motor is locked off at 51.1 N for latitude, then adjust dish left right and up down until bbc world news comes booming in, then lock up and check other sats

I did tell you this in a previous post, so if you ask again I will just copy and paste the same answer
