And that is precisely why you would need a Motorised system and by the West side i mean other feeds on birds such as 15? and 22? west feeds on the east side predominantly seem to be found on 10? east as this is mainly a downlink satellite and not a DTH one and this is why it has around when active up to 200 transponders.

You should dependant on location with a 1m setup be able to pick up the JSC 1-6 HD obviously if your midlands and or further south based your signal will increase as the further north you go the worse it gets.

I have seen plenty of EPL games from not only 10? east but also 9? & 7? east from feeds, If your willing to actually put the time and effort in and scour the feed based sites on the internet around 30 minutes before the 3pm deadline then you will be rewarded other wise you may as well join the other plug & Play brigade and buy an IPTV box or save some serious money get a proxy and subscribe legitimately for a 3rd of the IPTV box cost.

On a personal note thats not a dig by the way but this is the satellite section and most people regard it as a hobby and not some Quick freeTV fix which it has now become synonymous with, as i say treat it as a hobby put a little time and effort in and enjoy it and you will be rewarded.

Proxys are cheap, an IPTV box for around ?40, sub to Al Jaz is relatively cheap, and all the games are broadcast. I am sickened it's put an end to my skill set as far as football is concerned. It's the way things are going, like it or not.

@ Digicon I do not need a motorised system as I specifically hand built a platform that is both mobile and easily accessable with a 1m pole mounted dish attached to it so that I can swing it round onto various satellites about 20 minutes before kick off. For me the faff of using a spanner and a bit of oil every now and then far outweighs having a large dish attached to my property and unsightly cables running everywhere.

I'd like to class myself as a hobbist and not just some leech looking for a Quick freeTV fix (not that I'm insinuating that you was accusing me of being one in your last post.)
Personally speaking regarding satellite feeds I haven't had much luck and despite looking around the web I've not found any good reliable feed based websites. Like I said in my previous post "I'm willing to learn" and private PMs are always welcome if anyone has any information or pointers to share on the subject.

Apologies to Tayta for hijacking this thread and going off on a tangent slightly.

I admire your dedication and ingenuity of building yourself something which you find easy enough to maintain and swap around at a moments notice very commendable, The only reason why i mentioned motorised is due to the fact that the few seconds it takes for a motor to move and enter the relevant feed frequency especially on a Saturday afternoon where you could become bombarded with at least 20-30 different TP's to enter on a motorised dish this can be achieved in minutes where as yourself it would take hours doing it manually by which time the game has finished.

The reason for the Large dish as the OP originally stated in his post about having 26? east and 28.2? east then in some areas a 1m dish is a must as the swamp over factor from 28.2? east TP power kills everything on 26? east without a decent enough size dish

As for Feeds for any football game personally i have never had a problem whether it is BISS encoded or a free feed or even in 4:2:2 i have yet to miss a Game from my team, Its no secret about feed sites popular ones Satilliweb and even if you just google stanley cassidy or even just type satellite feeds brings up the most popular, as you quite rightly state a hobbyist will always be rewarded but perseverance is also the key.

Thanks for the heads up Digicon regards Satilliweb and Stanley Cassidy will certainly look into it I think I made my mistake in not leaving it until at least 30 minutes prior to kick off before searching the likes of 10e, as I just enjoy a good game rather than following just one particular team I've managed with the offerings on 39e and now BT Sport (We had BT Broadband anyway).

Always been aware that one day Bulsat will complete it's change over and the live feeds on other sats have always intrigued me and been at the back of my mind as an alternative when 39e shuts up shop. Anyway thanks once again.
