All the files in this post were found on the OpenPli forum all i've done is consolidate into 1 post and give details on how I eventually got On Demand to work. I've only
tested BBC iPlayer and ITV Player so cant comment on any of the other functions.

First download, extract and then install this will install on demand but only ITV Player will work at this point so
continue with the next steps.

Second download, extract and then install This file will install a few extra files required to make the extension
work. It does not add extra functions.

Third download and extract which was uploaded to OpenPli forum by ian1095. Once downloaded simply ftp into your box to location
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/OnDemand/ and upload the full contents of the ondemandiand.zip folder overwriting all existing files.

Fourth download and extract the file all of these files were posted onto OpenPli by digidude these files will only be required if your install is missing any of the enclosed files.

Start On Demand and if you receive an error message about any of the files in dependencies then install that file restart enigma then try restarting again and continue to do
this until no error messages show. When no errors show your On Demand should now be correctly installed and working properly.

I hope this helps a few people on here it took a while to find all of the information and put it into 1 place. I've also put the instructions in a text document.
Hi Andy

I can't seem to get this working, On demand plugin cant be seen, can you let me know if I am doing this correctly.
I have installed ''enigma2-plugin-extensions-ondemand-oe2.0_beta1_all.zip'' by ftp to user/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions
Then installed ''enigma2-plugin-extensions-ondemandextras_0.4_mips32el.zip'' by ftp to user/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions
Finaly installed ''ondemandian.zip'' to user/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions/ondemand

Thanks

Did you restart enigma inbetween each install ?

To install these plugins on your box you should transfer the files into your tmp folder then telenet install the plugins.

For example to install the first download. First download enigma2-plugin-extensions-ondemand-oe2.0_beta1_all.zip then unzip the file inside. Now transfer the file enigma2-plugin-extensions-ondemand-oe2.0_beta1_all.ipk to your temp folder in your box now use vucc to log into your box and run the following telnet command opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-ondemand-oe2.0_beta1_all.ipk

Do this for each of the above changing the plugin name for each on the command line and restart your box inbetween each install

There is nothing i could or would do to stop people running ViX on this or any other shoddily built clone, but we ( ViX ) will never offer support to such hardware or their user(s) . we work hard to produce, update and maintain our work and we choose who we will and will not support our selves, we wont be forced into supporting hardware that is substandard thus giving us a bad name when a user cant operate their receiver through no fault of ours.

If you want tech support for your clients who you palm this rubbish on to pay some one to do it because we wont.

Thats all i have to say on the subject.

Does anyone know how I can figure out, if the cardreader (even though it's built in wrong way) is correctly recogniced by open pli image? Can I use any telnet command to figure out?

Thanks for this Andy but I just can't get it to work, I have done the first install OK and ITV player is working, when I try the next install I am getting a message in Telnet saying 'can't install', this is what I have been doing:

FTP the unzipped fille..........enigma2-plugin-extensions-ondemandextras_0.4_mips32el.ipk.............. to tmp folder

Next telnet via VUCC........opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-ondemandextras_0.4_mips32el.ipk
getting message:
*opkg_install-cmd:Cannot install package /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-ondemandextras_0.4_mips32el.ipkopkg
*opkg_install-cmd:Cannot install package install
root@xp1000:/#

I did try to flash the vix image via the link Kaazaman posted but I am having the same problem as DixieDean, when trying to flash my box it does not go to the 2 red light mode to enable me to press ch+ to enter the flashing process, it just goes straight to Blue. I have also tried flashing with the (VIX) file xp1000.z7 and making a new file xp1000 and adding xp1000.z7 to that file, but as I say the box won't go into flash mode.

I managed to flash Lombards flash when I got the box and this is great, I just need all the on-demand working.

Thanks again for your help.

On their web site it says the the box is supported by the ViX Team

"Supported officially by OpenPLi(4.0), OpenAAF and the ViX Team"

Will you be supporting the Icloud III then? or I guess it's just a ploy to sell more boxes

This has been answered numerous times by RD and i believe the answer is NO CHANCE! as the Vix team do not and never will support Cloned receivers only Original's, So please dont be expecting a working Vix image anytime shortly an official one anyway.

The Marketing Blurb is just that taken directly from other online retailers who are advertising Genuine receivers such as the XP1000 and the SF8 HD model.

You must realise that when you purchase a cloned receiver you have to expect Zero support from official image teams its the way of the Clone world, Images will be forthcoming only when they are patched to work on there Clone counterparts which is totally in the hands of the people supplying the clones in the first place.

And that claim is total crap, I know because i am a senior member of the ViX image team, we will NEVER offer support for this or any other cloned receiver, the same is also true of the ATV team ( formerly AAF ).

Hello,
I wonder if the sellers know what sells, I ordered a "Cloud Ibox 2", and I was shocked when I saw that no "USB" port and card reader chip was present on the front panel, not to mention performance :
