Been discussed elsewhere this appears to be a Clone of the MaxDigital XP1000 receiver do a google search for that box and it ill give you the specs for it to compare to the standard ibox
There is now a Skybox branded mini solo, it has a metal case and looks more like a satellite receiver and less like a plain (experimenters) plastic case. The main board is the right way up, so heat can escape upwards. They do have the Ferrari V3.2 chip and include the RS232 module for updating the chip.
Seen this advertised about ?75 delivered from china, however they seem to only have a HDMI to connect to your telly. Could be a problem if you want to use it in the rug rats rooms with an older TV.
