Thanks for your speedy reply ramjet i only asked because i thought that the new 5000s might have a updated processor or extra features that the combo dose not, and seeing that my combo dose 90% of what i want it to do i will stick with it for the time being, also interested in the Giga blue Quad & VU Duo but they seem a little bit complicated compared to my combo and as the genuine VU Duo's have dropped to about ?200 i think that i will sit on the fence a little bit longer

agreed, and those options you mention are better seeing as they can stream iptv and have all kinds of extra features , plus you can add an internal hdd too , got a genuine duo myself as well as still got my old blade
for real speed you want a solo 2 or duo 2 but they cost even more money, the trick is knowing when to stop spending ,

Blade are due to release their own PC tool to edit and create channel lists for this box.
Im probably going to get one for family as they liked the BM7000s simplicity to use for them, pity it fujd up now but got nearly 3 years out of it.

hi guys,
does anyone know how I can download the channel list from BM5000? I always do a scan and download the channel list and edit it the way I want in a Channel editor. Was easy on BM7000 but struggling with this one.
I have selected backup User Database option but when I open in the channel editor it says the file is a loader not database?? any help will be greatly appreciated.
