i have been looking at this thread would someone please tell me what channel is worth looking far on this bird i did think i was missing something no puns allowed jackpot

Correct Jackpot you can pick up 13e with a rubbish bin lid ! its so strong....


After all there are easer ways of watching football if you get the right equipment (like most of us have by now) of course the subject is banned but it brings me back to the same old thing ! why on earth would you need a satellite nearly out of reach across the UK where most of the content can be found broadcasted on closer satellites such as 13e or other ?

I have not moved my satellite from 19 & 28 east for months, all the Sports I need far to many movie Channels and good old ~~~~ ( in moderation of course) thats just me but there cant be anything you need that badly that cant be found else where .... Except for maybe the Omar Shariff poker hour (learning to lose it all like a pro )

i am new to the sat side but when theres not much help and people expect you to know some thing that has took you a long while to learn and go down different routes its hard m8
i am not a compleate novice but i do no very little did ask what i was missing and my post just got skipped we you all was begginers at one stage

As you can see from the obove Badar 6 is at it weakest over the UK adveraging only 45db but a 2.0 / 5 meter dish should be just about big enough in the Uk not taking onto account Rain Fade throughout the winter months but no need for anything bigger than that in my opinion is required....

Do you have a 2 to 5m dish then....??

your looking at needing a good 1.2m dish for mbc and the rest on 26e

channels on badr 6 at 26e wont be received in england without a massive dish

but he should be good for mbc, dubai one etc

You may be picking up something mate on a perfectly still clear day but as has been pointed out your going to need at least 2 to 2.5 dish to pick up anything worth watching
