As you can see from the obove Badar 6 is at it weakest over the UK adveraging only 45db but a 2.0 / 5 meter dish should be just about big enough in the Uk not taking onto account Rain Fade throughout the winter months but no need for anything bigger than that in my opinion is required....

It is mainly for MBC channels ?

No problem at all with 1.2 dish, 0.2 lnb in Hull east yorkshire even in rain. Dish set up must be bang on though. anything under 1m will be a struggle, should be alwright getting MBC channels, the rest maybe okay.

I receive most of the transponders on badr 4, 90cm dish, technomate 6800HD Super in Stockport, NW England.

It took me a while of "nudging" the dish over many weeks to get a signal on any transponder, then once I had 1, I fine moved the dish to maximum signal quality, and then scanned the transponders shown on King of Sat.

I have re-done them all this morning, signal quality is between 52 and 61%.

I'm in South West Ireland and can pick up some channels on 26E on a 1m Gibertini but only in good weather and they are quite weak.

.. you live in Glasgow west, 250+ miles NORTH from South West Ireland.. Read the bit in red.. and tell me that you think Glasgow West ticks that box, then throw into the equation massive signal loss the further north you get.. not the best idea IMHO

why do you want this sat so badly..??

if its for the football then unless you want to watch games like Stoke v Wolves then you can get them on 13/19E..

hehehe thats class. If its for the football and you support any of your main scottish teams then art and jsc on 13 should get you their games quite easily with a 80cm.
