do you mean you are looking for the patched firmware if so its the first post by Digicon at top or here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...LADE-8000-SCAN I have been told by DELTAWING he is testing the new firmware and will be released very shortly which will include cable scanning but if you wish to scan cable now use the method in the link on blade 8000 scan.

Well thank you.... But I have already visited the blade home page...... I would like to know where to find the latest patch and other people experiences on the box......

My set up is running a Blade Combo using the Blade Sly channel list adding the HD channels from Sly Sports.

put on a usb stick

press menu on remote
external device press ok
file manager press ok
pick the file you just downloaded and press ok

to get the 9991 option

go to a tv channel press 9991 on remote

Hi,

I have downloaded and used this firmware on my bm8000. Tuner 1 works fine but I am having some problems. I am unable to scan any terrestrial channels for tuner 2. Also, Youtube isn't working and the EPG wont update properly.

Can anyone help me with this?

I just tried a data reset on the box, I was then able to scan the terrestrial channels however I soon as I scanned the Satellite channels from Blade online the terrestrial channels disappeared again. Does anyone know where I am going wrong? Any help would be appreciated

Is it not a case of the channel list you downloaded from the Blade server is Satellite only excluding Cable/Terrestrial if so perhaps search for a Sat/Cable/terrestrial combination list if there is one to download

I'm also having trouble with EPG with this firmware. Doesn't download when you leave it on the EPG channel. But the box does create the EPG folder on the USB storage

How did you manage to dump the channel list from the cable side? The CDMB file I downloaded from the receiver just seems to show the sat channels in DMBEdit. Anyone had any joy regarding this issue?

Hi everyone, I have a question please, does anyone know if I can use one of those antenna/usb dongle (that I can buy cheap on ebay) to eliminate the ethernet cable and give wifi direct to the box?
