thanks mate I will probably rely on downloads from this site as I have a lot of probs with sat4fun both on IE8 and firefox.files seem to arrive corrupted and its very slow(but that may be my dial up) but I"ve never had any probs here.
I"ve now ordered a card from satfool deals but have still to make up my mind about a programmer,any suggestions welcome.I see they list a loader on sat4fun is this essential?

smartmouse usb is about ?30 on ebay. Does gamma etc. Sat4fun for me is always ok, files never corrupted. Strange that.

I have tried again with sat4fun and got a couple of test files fine I think it was just the 1 file (a loader for the omnia) that would not come through.
as I"m a complete noobie to cards and programmers any one got a tut on them as I can only find stuff that assumes you know what you are doing and I dont(only just about manage the computer)

How to Program Omnia with Cas 3 (cas2/dynamite)
straight serial cable 9 pin with the correct ends needed

Please follow this steps in the order i m sugesting:

1. Open cas 3 by click the icon on your desktop
2. connect the usb cable, wait till program starts
3. go to untilities tab
4. click the phoenix mode
5. choice 3.579 mhz usally for pc, or 6 mhz for laptop
6. hide button
7. open the needed loader with glasses by double click it
8. in the loader window when opens correct the settings in com port,
tick the 6 mhz button only if need it, load the latest file where u saved
it.
9. Insert your card chip down & connect the serial cable
10. now click program

Shortly u will see the message "card program succesfully"

as omnia card will not now be arriving til after the 29th I"ve ordered an infinity usb phoenix to go with it so hope one of you kind chaps will talk me through progamming files with it.
"fearona" thanks for the tut on cas 3 but I tried again to download the cas studio but the file is just too big for me on dial up @22mb.

i hope its not the infinity usb smart you ordered i could never get it to work with g\mma maybe the new cards are different and work on 3mhz not 6 then the smart might be ok. if not you will hav to use your cas3 as reader.

yes I guessed that mate and thanks but I"ve ordered and paid for now I"ll just hope some other files become available for me to play around with.Its just the luck of the game.

canalsat 19.2e is hopefully open soon. You should be able to cance easy enough if not yet despatched from any firm.
