    Sorry terrior
But I have used a Diablo Wifi and CC@am what with it's 1 line aproach and no support for latest cccam oh yes and freezes all the time and dropping wifi unless the thing is sat on the router need I go on.True Linux Receivers the only way and at the mo AZBox and multicas is very good and reliable.

Linux dreamboxes all types i'd go for now. Few years back i owned a few tm's and humax recievers they where great for ease of patching and adding keys but as less packages are open only one now digitv they lost there edge with me but then again i owned a dream back then also and never had any problem using that either just dreamboxes are more involved in setting up but once setup correctly you'll never fault them for the support
With a linux dreambox you'll get lots of support all over the web possibly more than any other type off reciever now. If u start with a clone 500 as there cheap with lots of tuts out there .Then once you've got your head round it upgrade to a 800HD or 8000HD

you'll be happy once it's setup as you want and as long as you can read n follow tutorials to he dot it's easy enough

            Hello,
With a dreambox & keys just the same channelsas on any patched reciever, however with CarDsharing the possibilties are endless (cardsharing is not to be discussed here rememeber)..

I have what i can afford, and I dont think anyone can say that ?84 for a original Technomate TM600 pvr STB capable of c/s is a bad price. I got a 12 month warranty on this box that is made in the UK. That means a lot to me. If i could afford a better box i would no doubt buy one.....But i think i speak for everone here that this is a Hobby, and a hobby has to come second place to paying the mortgage and all the household bills. I cannot afford about ?250 to spend on a STB, and throwing money at a hobby takes all the fun out of trying some home made devices what have been made on a shoestring......Personally i think they are a ok box for the price....

I agree mate. The TM600 is a decent STB, and at least you can run epg on it using usb I would opt to pay 84? for a legit receiver from a proper distributor than purchase clone boxes. Real world comes first, then hobbies

Remember technomate are one of the largest companies for receivers in europe And support officially is great. It works like the dreambox And is worth every penny. The azbox is also very very good.

Read the Rules here; they apply to Everyone.

In a word 4.2.2 is why,if firm/w is sorted out ie blind scan & recording, then this is why.Dont forget Firm/w is still being worked on with azbox atm. Also when getting a HD sat receiver make sure you look @ the Format resolution & what the satellite receiver offers you.Azbox will do this on Format resolution 576i (480i), 576p (480p), 720p, 1080i, and 1080p look what the other boxes offer like Technomate,Spider box & so on.Never get mixed up on support for codes above hardware, thats a good tip.One day someone might say thanks .

ps Spider box does this for Format resolution 1080i, 720p, 480p and 480i.
