The way I mount the dish is to leave the actual dish itself to last, then with the motor on a bench or table bolt the dish bracket to the motor tube using a pair of dividers to get it dead centre then I put a car exhaust bracket on the mounting pole for the motor to rest on while I attach it and tighten enough to take the slack out but still move it.only then do I put the dish itself on(its usually only 4 screws) mind you I only put my dishes up in easy reach.
I have sent my own guide for std technomates the principal is the same what ever type of box you have.
yh thanks for that guide mate. i wasnt to sure what u meant by divders? i know its hard to explain by writing tho.

i didnt knw the dish came off the dish brackets il check it out is it the 4 screws on the face of the dish?

yes mate its those 4 screws.the dividers I use are just ordinary engineers dividers so you can check the mount is central on the motor shaft.
