I have Just discovered something interesting about sky Subscriptions
I would not read to much into that , Sky have a cooling off period when you stop your subscription and the method of there subscription for a month of Sky over a number of years can give you up to two months of free television at the end of a cancelled subscription.
Every cancelled subscription takes up to two months due to the advanced payment sky operate and any extra payments that were taken from your direct account billing.
Normally you are informed via mail when the service will be switched off, it does not matther what receive you are using, as the cards ID is removed from there servers the catch is the card will need to be updated through the sky receiver every so ofton (then killing your card). As its a new White Card thats in opperation it has not been fully functionilised yet, due to a small amount of blue cards still been used by customers.
Yes it might be still working in your dreambox but its just a glitch and will require an update soon or later to continue opperation, you will start losing channels untill its placed in the original receiver then it will be dead.

My card works in both Alun .
It mostly resides in the Skybox and updates fine ,has been doing so for the last 7 months .
I like to keep it in the Dreambox but the other half (who watches the vast majority of tv ) is loath to use it.
I think myself its just an admin error .
Sky still believe I'm a customer.
I've never been contacted or received any reconnection offers over the last 7 months.
I hope I havent jinxed myself though.

cccam 2.1.3 updates the white sky card without you having to put it back into the original box.
Its possible that this is all because the new white card has not yet been fully activated
Me and my big mouth.
Card went off today ,I cant believe it .
Maybe its just a coincidence or perhaps Sky have spies on this forum.
Still they have no way of knowing who I am.
7 and a half months,not a bad run.
The Entitlements on the card are still valid up to April 11 and some April 20. Entitlement info
