    Sky+ Box won't come out of standby

    Sorry in advance if this isn't the right place to ask but does anyone know how to get my Sky+ box out of standby?

    Standby button on remote and box do nothing and also tried turning off then back on at mains but still same prob.

    Any help would be appreciated.

          Standby light stay red

          The stand by on the + box does not change to green even after unpluging in and trying reset tips and remote control.
          Have been having issues ever since some one claiming to be from sky called want to get us to take out a deal on the ne HD box. Funny coencidence!

              it will be power supply fault
              search for repair kit caps and diodes
              been a bit since i done one
