Entitlements need updating...Info please

My SKY card entitlements has ran out yesterday...it seems that it will not update in the TM600. So i have reconnected up the Digibox and inserted the card. Can anyone tell me if the phone line still has to be connected to the digibox for it to update ? And how long before its updated ?

no, doesnt need to be connected. should take half hour or so but best to leave for 12 hours

it should update using cccam

Thanks for the info...I am also sorry for the post in the Technomate section that seems to be asking the same question ( admin please remove if necessary ) So as long as my TM600 used to work with the sky card, and its running 2.1.4....I can use that to update entitlements ?? Therefore the digibox can be put into the loft ?

Sometimes the Sky Card will not update using CCcam, other times it does. With ccam it can take more than 12 Hours. If you leabe on CH 4 on Sky box it takes about 4 hours for complete entitlement update . . .

I have been told that because the entitlements have ran out and the card no longer opens channels i will need to ring sly tv tomorrow

hmm, put it back in the sky box overnight then. but your cccam should be setup to recieve updates

CCcam for reading the card is on my server...not on a STB, and i use omnikey reader. i have been trying get it update all day..no luck at all

you need a client who will send EMU to your card.

cccam 2.1.3 will do the job in under 30 minutes

I thought i only got this from SLY.....So my card can be updated off another User ?? I am not aware of this

Just put it in your sky box mate. It would have been done by now.
