For the price it looks a great spec but I said the same thing about the Qbox-One.
I was planning on buying a Qbox One about 18 months ago as it had a great spec and provided everything I was looking for in a satellite receiver.
However the software side of things was never developed and the box was buggy and never fulfilled its potential.
Hardware is only the start ,a receiver needs a wide user base and developer support and I think the QBox is too limited in that respect.Pity.

Its not just that Fano its the Cccam Support its only limited to been a Client and not a server, this is the main reason it does not sell.

Yeah it runs E2 Gemini from the video I posted above so the software is not so bad, Applications not too bad either, But with only a 266 MHz CPU in this day and age is a little lame especially when we see Dream-Multimedia/ Dbox used a simular powered CPU in the DM500 for the last 8-10 years.

Its a good buy if you are looking for HD satellite Receiver running on Linux enigma 2 (connection to Duolabs Srever at some stage) intergrated Duolabs Cam now opening C+ (Me Thinks) Not such a bad buy to stay away from Clone Dreamboxs or over priced Technomate 800 Hd with little or no images.

For 199 Euro it will force other companys like Dream to reduce the price of there HD receivers like 500 HD.

But seriously Duolabs need full Cccam Support for this to be a success or it will be another flop.

Interesting I didnt know that, thats a very big flaw indeed.
A pity as it looks a fine box.

                    hmmm that's a bit shit isn't it

This receiver because of the chipset it unlikely to run CCcam as a s***** however it runs OSCam no problem at all which works 100% as a CCcam c***** so you can easily use your existing **** if this is your thing, takes seconds to setup and just as easy as using CCcam itself, you can also use OScam to use the two smartcard slots if you've got an official viewing card you'd like to use.

Search for Panda Sat forums and download the QUT addons server, you can then download various plugins and cams direct through the menu on the QBox HD Mini.

Actually really been impressed with the quality of these, and of course a great price, I'm really pleased how well they work, also got the CrossEPG running on mine here for a full program guide. They actually store the firmware on a USB stick, so you use a USB stick to flash and another USB stick to store the firmware on. We should also have the second tuners in stock in just over a week or so, great receiver for the price in my opinion.

You don't run CCcam direct on the QBox HD Mini, you can run OScam though that runs 100% as a CCcam client with the right tweaking.

Hi there, well we're personally offering at half price if purchased at the same time as the receiver, so ?25 or ?50 when purchased on its own. We've not actually got stock of the second tuners right now though but we've got them on order and should here around about this time next week all being well.

                              HI guys
I was thinking about getting a vu solor or the xtrend 5000 but then this qbox twin turns up at around 200bucks but are they any good as the reviews are very mixed.

Will they run cccam as a friend said I should be on cccam (still reading up on what to do).

Anyway - whats the view - stay away or worth considering since its a twin at a bargain price. just wondering if its dropped in price because its no good.

Dont want to make the wrong choice if I cant run a cccam (in the future).

                              Any help please

                              cheers
