my opinion is alan...and i,ll probably get flamed for it is..if tring do indeed show 2/3 3pm,s is that within a month of the season starting..they will get the 3pm rights revoked due to the open mass marketing/price of these cards in the uk..similar to what happened to digitalb/nova greece...the viasat sweden card is available too!! but the price of the card is double and not openly plugged like tring is...

Their cards are so cheap.. by the time October comes and The PL & Sky have enough evidence that Tring have a good broadcast base in the UK the rights to 3pm games will be revoked.. Just like Digitalb & Nova Gr..
They'll end up showing the Saturday 5:15pm and Sunday 4pm games only..

Interesting reading ! no 3pm kick offs and currently only hold rights for 5 EPL matches to Date.
Darkman has now joined Liveonsat.com as 'Digitalb' and has tried to post listings for Tring, L.J was made aware of his presance by all accounts and reacted by posting a statment dismissing DarkBollox attempt:

To be honest, and im not gonna lie, i thought darkman was alright, his help, taught me, how to use a sat box. (joined alsat, as my 1st ever sat-forum)
But to be selling a card, that we dont fully know has rights to something, is diabolical.
I'll agree with Alun on this one, its not on LJ's and im sure we all trust and use LJ's as a kind of listing guide for games, and seeing as they havent got tring on any games, one can only assume that they have not got it yet. So you buy the Cards, if your 100%, but just be careful, in the end of the day, we cant tell you what to buy, just give advice.Comment

hi guys, I was looking on ebay and someone is selling tring plus cards at nearly ?400.The listing is claiming that the tring gold cards don't get the 3pms and only get 2 epl games whereas the plus cards get all 3pms....would tring have to start up extra channels to show all these games?
If there are two cards,there are gonna be alot of unhappy customers out there!Comment

To be honest anyone who even thinks of buying a Tring card after the debacle with Digitalb last year needs their head examined.
Tring may start off the season with 3pm matches but its highly unlikely that they will finish the season with them.
All it takes is one call from Rupert to the EPL and Tring will be cut off for not following the terms and conditions of the contract.
Those Tring cards arent particularly cheap either .
You can get a Diema card for 199 euro that will show 228 EPL matches although the commentary will not be in English.

And When (or If ) this go TiT's-up I hope people go and lodge complains with Trading Standards, Commercial watchdogs and other Bodys protecting consumers and thier Rights against the individuals Misselling these cards under false pretences.
A lot of satellite & cable Related stuff is classed as illegal and when we get ripped-off there is nothing we can do, The differance with this situation is These cards (Tring) are legal but have been advertised & promoted online sold in the UK & ROI (by a select few) on the understanding that they will open much or all of this seasons EPL games. This is the only reason why many thousands of consumers have bought them in the first place, due largley to them been far cheaper than a Sky & Sky Sports Subscription.
If this turn out a Fuc! up ! dont sit on your Ass and do nothing ! The websites shops will dissapear of course advertising banners will be changed. But there is nothing illegal about buying a Viewing card and you are well within your rights to demand a refund if it does not do what its supposed to do.Comment
