yes m8, ive seen it done using a zone 2 65cm eliptical dish here in bolton using 3x 0.1db smart lnb,s hooked up to a maxx1000 and it works great although if i were installing one id choose a 80cm dish for extra heavy weather protection. regards mdt

I have it working on a 80cm dish with 28e been the prime satellite, with a Mono-block next to it receiving 19e & 13e, I had to make a extra Bracket due to the weight of the Mono-Block especially in bad weather.

      But Yes it does Work.

          i have 28.2 23.5 19 16 13 5 east

          homemade bracket

          1m lenson heath dish

will add 10 and 42 east

i made the bracket like this
          50cm length of ali tube
bolt that to dish arm with a small plate i made
then made the lnb holders like in pic
slide lnb holders on ali tube
screw the hanger on the bolt up and down for elevation

          to make lnb holder

get a jubilee clip that fits around lnb
drill a hole at bottom of clip
put a 2 or 3 inch length bolt through the hole
put a nut and washer on it

get a small jubilee clip wrap around tube so it looks like a p clip (see pic2)
          drill 2 holes

slide that on bolt put a nut and washer on each side

to make the plate that fits to lnb arm and holds the tube
i got a flat peice of metal drilled 2 holes and fixed to dish arm

at tube end of plate i bent plate down a little drilled 2 holes
in plate and tube (see pic 3) and fixed with small nuts and bolts

cost ?2 to make 6 lnb holders
          ali tube cost me nothing

I'm completely new in this forum.
Is it possible for me to have Astra 28 and hotbird satellite in one dish while I'm living in Dublin. Ireland?

mine is connected as instant zap on 28e on 3 and 30w on 4and the first position (one) is my darkmotor for the rest, using a 4 way diseqc switch

and as I use a twin output inverto ultrablack lnb, the second output feeds an 8 way switch with 5 fixed lnb,s and one being the second feed from the motorised triax td110 dish

and to answer the dublin question, providing the dish is big enough to cope , say 80cm to 110cm then yes you should get 13e and 28e on the one dish, and 19e as well

Hi davvo. Cant believe you hardly watch the bloody thing. You must have better things to do then. If you like tinkering so much see if you can conjure up a magic patch that will open everything for us. Take care.
