If they really wanted to though, they could shut them down. I suppose their countries government realise that its better to spend time and money on more important issues concerning their own problems......And lets face, they have huge problems compared to the UK.

So is it illegal for a pub to show an FTA match? For the last 2 saturdays there has been a match shown from 7e, channell RTS1. Surely they cant stop something that is freely available.

Yes it is illegal to watch foriegn satellite fta games if broadcasters have the exclusive uk rights to them
ie Sky Espn
Domestic users need never worry about it but commercial premises could be targeted even though the signal is free
