now you've gone for the cam and cas3 here is a doc i made
for a new user on anouther forum on how to program the cam
download and keep it for the basic info on how to load the file

Have just about managed to flash firmware in the past, so should be able to muck through!!

Do you have a motorised dish? how do you find it? is it wirth the exspence?

hi m8,
i have a 1.2 chn master motorised dish and for me to get the best from your receivers and cams etc: it's a must, and you get a better choice of channels no matter what your intrests are, and as things go down
and while waiting for a new patch or file you still have plenty to view and for sport there are about 15 sport channels on thor 1w from canal+ and digi-tv plus the other chns film/documentry/discovery cartoon/adult etc:
and most are in english if like me you have a HD sat receiver there are lots of HD chns as well.

hi wooper,
a 1mtr dish will get a good signal from most of the satellites
and is ok for the main satellites from 42e to 30w
i do get a couple of sats like nilesat 7w and astra3 23.5e
that a metre dish wont open. but these are not that good
from the uk and i loose signal in poor weather. you will get
the satellites that has the most open on them

yes your tm 7755 is compatable, with a diseqc motor
take a look in the receiver menu and you will find the info
in the motor settings

Right, have Diablo cam at home, am told loaded with underworld 1.46 and got my brand new Technomate 5400 CI+.

Now, plug sat lead in, scan 16e, as its pointed that way. Do I have to do anything else??

Saw this on another forum, do I do this or will reciever unlock automatically??:-


Once this is completed you can exit and insert the cam into your receiver.
You now need to alter the configuration settings.
Go into the Cam menu, using your receivers remote control.
Enter Stealth 248, and Enter the Configuration folder.
Alter the settings so:
Auto PMT ON
Emulators ON
N2 AU ON
Emulators Priority 1 Emu 2 Card
Fixed CW ON

hi m8,
first you need to set the tm5400 up
in the menu for tv settings time satellites etc
then you can scan eutellsat 16e
next the cam needs the latest file loading ie:underworld 1.48
and the configuration could be set correctly this is how to set it

put the cam in the receiver slot and turn on
press menu and>go to common interface and you will
see the file name ie:underworld 1.36 highlight it
and click>ok on the next panel go to [4] configuration
and click>ok on the next panel set the configuration
to the following settings useing you vol and chn buttons
on your remote to scroll and change the menu's

[2] caids file [caids]
[3] PMT - [on]
[4] emulators [on]
[5] N2 AU [on]
[6] Emu priority [1:emu-2:cards]
[7] fixed cw [on]
[8] Smartcard mess [show never]
[9] adminstrator menu [ do not change anything in this ]

after you have set the cam config to the above settings
exit the menu and turn the receiver off and on again to
lock the settings in the cam menu,now the chns will open.

and you dont have to format the cam everytime you load
a new file the files overwrite one anouther
if you do format the cam you loose all your cam settings
and then you need to do the above again
