i take it your up and running with your new box and diablo cam?
from what said about watching digialb, was i right about how easy it is to load a file on the cam just wait untill you get a motor then you will realy get the
full benifit from them.

The cam came with 148, so was ready to go. Fun will come when that changes, but have flashed boxes before, so should not be too hard.

Reciver wanted to automatically search 28.2!!!! deleted that and all the free chanells came up for 16"e.

took me a while to figure to scan 16" before I could get the footy.

Still, was up and going in about 15 mins if that.

Can I not get xx and xxx ( I think) as they are HD?? get 1x and another??

hi m8,
they are not HD chns you should get them open, go to the chn and turn off
and on again to see if this clears the problem, also if you change channels fast the cam then stops opening the channels, the cam has a lot in the file and is a little slow opening the chns.also if when you set the box up after setting language,tv settings,time etc, you go menu>satellite set up anf click >ok a small panel opens with a satellite list you scroll to the satellites you want on the list and press yellow to save, then you scan the satellite for the chns,

Hmmmm, I thought it a little odd as some of the conax channels would not open, ie xx wouldnt but x would.

Am not really bothered though, all the footy ones do and the film ones and are in the favourites now, so all is well in the world.

Have Kryptview on the cable so get all Sly and Vermin anyway.

Ironic to think I dont watch much TV, just the footy really.

Must get that motor and onto thor, Nova sports looks good.

for anyone with the diablo cam and you have lost some
of your channels the conax channels are down on 8w
and 9e satellites all others are still open. it looks like a
new data bin is needed

If you're not viewing those Conax channels. Then no worries. When you get a motor and try to view them you will have to use the latest bin data files to open these channels.

No, I mailed the place you sent me, but got no reply, though that said, I should try calling them, and no doubt will.

TV Aerial Installation; Digital, Satellite & Analogue by AerialForce

That was for dish and everything, but they said they do a survey to see if there is anything they can use.

Already having a dish, seems a little bit of a waste.

Is that a lot in your experience???

i would think you could use your own dish lnb etc
you might need a new mount/pole and new cable
i have sent anouther pm i hope he is still there mate
but keep ringing the first one a lot of them dont answer e-mails
also there was a guy in your town near pilks but
i cant remember the name on his shop

if i remember correctly it was hawley satellite and it was on the
right hand side when heading for pilks from safeway shop
i dont know if he's still there
