the new youtube feature doesn't work on mine, whenever i try to load something it says failed or connection failed, but theres nothing wrong with my connection, The channels work fine it picks up my IP fine so cnt understand whats wrong with it

Is it just me or when you flash the latest patch, the volume is muted on HD channels. If you press 'Audio' on the remote, you have two options: 1. Language1 2. English (AC3)

I was viewing bbc1HD and could never get the volume to work, when I checked it was on 'option 2'.
I changed to 'option 1' and I thought I'd done it

While on here reading, that Merlin program came on, I thought I was hearing things as a voice was explaining every move or smile a character displayed at that time.

I know its for accesibility issues, I was wondering why doesn't 'option 2' work ? Anybody else have the same issue ?

P.S. I need a cline and I aint got a clue how to obtain one, I googled it and the only one I got close to was a russian site, when I clicked on 'Forum' my Mcafee didn't like it one bit so I left it alone to get expert advice, Please PM me as I've been reading all day while setting it up

By default the audio on the blade is set to mid level so keep the audio on
AC3 when you in the audio menu, use the left arrow button(beside the OK button), to get to the 3 options on the left, then use the down arrow button. then right arrow button and select the Audio High setting.

This will raise the audio to high, so you can keep the audio on AC3, do this procedure on all off the channels.

Cheers for the reply but like I said, the volume is actually muted, I knew about raising volume etc, I had to do this anyway as the volume is very weak.

SD channels are fine but as soon as I goto bbc1HD, you hear nothing when set to english AC3, I'm gona try a different HDMI lead...

hit online services then youtube then press blue button there are settings in there change those and try again

I've sorted it

I had to change settings on blade, menu> settings> a/v output settings> Digital audio and changed Dolby HDMI to PCM.

Guys can I kindly request a CNDF file with latest channel list.. im still stuck with the crap firmware that came with the box and guy does not give me the password to the 9991 menu so I can flash it to the newer software.

Therefore all channel lists are old and most do not work..

Is there anybody willing to help ? It would be greatly appriciated.

you can get the channel list from the blade site,when u flash the box with the new firmware just go to a channel and press 9991 u dont need a password

yeah but then I lose my share and the guy doesnt give me the password to enter the config again. thats why I cannot update to the newer firmware... ?120 down the drain - I have to wait until the year is out (March next year!) before I can flash and buy shares of someone else.

Yep 9991 menu is locked with a 4 digit code - and no - its not 9991 !!!

Hi all
having problems with the blade streaming. i can stream movies etc but having real trouble when fast forwarding/rewinding. a lot of the time it just freezes. I have to reboot the whole box. this also happens if iam forwarding a film ive put on my external hard drive and playing through usb. has anyone else had these probs or does anyone know solution ???
