    ?200 for HD box

Hi Guy's, just need a bit of guidance. i currently have a TM600 which is great but with crimbo coming I'm looking to spend my money on a brand new shiny hd box.

i think i will have approx ?200 and was wondering which is the best one atm. cccam and ethernet connection, pvr internal function as well are a must.

    any thoughts peeps??:

You don't need to be a mastermind to know that the VU is miles better in quality/support/capabilities.

I agree but to completely dismiss it without having used the box or played around with it, it's a pretty strong statement..

My mate has one, granted its not as good as an original DM800 or DM500HD but for ?90 it's the business..

It opens up all the channels he wants via CS...

If I had ?200 for a box I'd save for a bit longer and get a genuine DM500HD

i read on one thread that the vu has a reboot issue. has this now been resolved and is a very stable box?

I have the same issue, I want an HD Linux box but can't go over ?200. I like TM boxes but the review I read about TM 800 HD are not encouraging.

If you want a HD Linux box but cant go over the ?200 mark you have a couple of choices..

                    1) Openbox S9
                    2) Second hand DM800HD of ebay

                        thats ok then

maybe it would have been better to say that in the first place rather than 'miles better'

If you have ?200 then scrape together an extra ?75 and you can have the VU+ solo tuner
