I think you should bear in mind that when it comes to the dm800 you will be buying a clone and not the original for your ?200. If you go directly to one of the Chinise suppliers such as Yaxoin you could probably buy the dm800 for about ?132.

Curious is there some costoms tax to add to that ?
eattheliving I think it is all down to personal choice in the end, I have had a dm800hd clone now for 12 months now I think its a great unit and easy to work with,I also have 2 dm500s. I use dreambox sales uk, I am not trying to say you use them, but you can chat to them online and get them to answer some of your qustions before you part with you cash. Up to you in the end but I would buy in the UK personaly.

I brought mine from UKDreamshop for about ?205 delivered and the guy is great when it comes to support. I am thinking about chancing my arm with the second one and buying from China to save a few quid. I have read you could be stung with custom tax anywhere between ?7 and ?38 but that still got to be cheaper then the UK.

silly question again...before i decide which box to go for...

If i go for a multiple tuner do i need an lnb with equal amounts of outputs and also connect the same amount of cables from the dish to my box??

                vu+ duo

                silly question again..
when i want to use cardsharing, is it necessary to have VU+ duo allways ON.. or cardsharing works also on stand by mode?
                thx

I have always left my box on all the time because I thought putting them into standby stopped cardsharing. Whats the difference between putting your box into standby or leaving them on?

uses less power m8 so saving u money on your electricity bill, you can just leave the box on standby and the c* will work away grand

the box still works when in standby it just cuts the pictures, the linux scripts are still working away..

leaving it in standby lets the box run its magic but saves the other components from burning out ..

ALWAYS REMEMBER to put your box on a FTA channel when not using it

Can't really mention why on here, you need to leave it on a FTA channel though as it will affect your 'friends' times if you leave it on an encrypted channel when in standby.. Your box is still working away even in standby
