I had a major problem with my motor not moving after a reflash and tried everything suguested from other's around and nada, i had the same problem as you with connecting wire to LNB and no power light and nearly gave up, but started to play around with the tuner config and back up and running.

What are your tuner settings ? is it set up correct ? lnb connection, voltage type etc.......

ITgate TGM220 (swapable tuner), Dreambox 800 pro, Dreambox 500c x 2, DBox, Popbox media player.

Now you have said that may be, I have just flashed the box with a new Enigma PBL image and I shall have a play, again,I am not sure what the LNB setting should be, but what harm can it do I shall have a play with the settings and see if this gets things going.

Can you give me some ideas on what I will be looking for, like a example of the lnb setting, If I am right I can change the lnb number, khz etc. but I did not see any voltage,

I am currently using a sagem dbox2, but I have now purchased a new dm800 to see if this eliminates the issue.

Thank you for your help people

          DM800 setup.
As stated the usuals / non usuals thing did not work for me no matter what i tried, so this is my settings that got the dish moving.

What i did was go to menu / set up / tuner configuarations / choose simple setup / lnb - 1 / set your lcoation / voltage - 900m / save.

i also had pre loaded bouquets and selected bbc 1 then hotbird and happy days when i heard that wrrrrr of the motor, and that is what worked for me hitting all satellites available to me.

Note arrived yet mate I only ordered it yesterday, but I will keep you posted, I will also try this on my dbox and see if I can get any joy out of it before I get the motor swoped out.
motor is brand new so I keep thinking it is a config issue.

              have a good one

Mate what can I say, the box has arrived and the motor is all up and moving, I have not put it on the roof yet or been able to pick-up any pictures as it is in my garage down the end of the garden, I just wanted to make sure everything was working before I got on the top roof with it, now the chap I got the box from has installed a blackhole image on the box, sim 2.01 I think, channels , sats, cams the lot, I just need to set-up usual setting and I think I will be there for the Freeview stuff on all satellites, let me kow if I am missing anything when you get a moment, any tips, tricks links to helpful docs.

so now I beleive all I need to do is to postion the dish true S/N and then tell it to go to Thor and dial in Thor the best I can, then tell the dish to go to Atra 28oE and then realighn that to be crystal clear then I shpuld be able to track all of the satellites in the arch, and I know this is not going to be straight forward..

But I beleive I am winning now

I want to thank you for your help so far.

after you have put your lat/long in the box you will need to send the box to 1W on usals and with an active tp set say bbc world 11.325H 24500 you will have to hunt for the sat by moving the whole motor/dish assembly L/R and the dish elevation only up/down to find it.if you just use a compass to align the dish when the motor is set to zero its unlikely to find thor 1st time whe you send it there.
