No mate you dont go into positioner.
In tuner config enter all the settings as Westkills guide exept of coarse long lat because that needs to be your long lat, make sure you enter that correctly.
Your setting up advaced (not simple)
Under advanced is the sats you are going to use Ie when you first set up you did it with sat as 28.2E then you press ok to save, that will take you back to alps tuner, go back in to config and scroll down to sattelite scroll left or right to the next sat you want to use then ok to save so on and so on. once you have configured all the sats you want to use. that is it in tuner config.
Zero and reset your dish, select a channel BBC 1 or whatever your box should drive the dish to 28.2E then you need to tweek your dish manually to get your best signal, then sellect a channel on a different sat it should drive to that sat and then u may need to do a little more tweeking. It will work but be patient mate.

      Good luck

I would print off westkills guide mate then you have it for another time, also I forgot that when you go back each time you choose the next sat scroll down and choose 1lnb, that will then fill in the rest for you mate.

no worries, gave it a go was feleling brave have lost absolutely everything now i reset ,y dish to zero cant even get 19.2e now ,somethings gotta be faulty. i can manually locate 19.2e from positioner setup but everytime i go to the channel list and select arte or something like that the dish spins and doesnt pick anything up at all...... seriosuly thinking about getting a pro out htis wek to have a look at it now

Yes you can do just that then use the sat finder option and or upload a channel list.

just had a thought could the lnb of moved in the dish ? i just noticed this morning that ait looks to be on a different angle to what it used to be. also contermplating change the single lnb for a quad when i take the dish off icecrypt 0.1 looks the best value for performance found one for ?16.99

any universal lnb will be ok be it single, twin or quad.in a motorised setup it should be set to zero skew.
