Is there a diff firmware for v8s , i have a v5s and all the details to set that up but just ordered a v8s and was wondering is it the same or do i need to find that somewhere ,

You need the V8s firmware to work otherwise the box will display (8)

Why would you want to update a new box ?? check what firmware it has on it
if up to date you don't need to

Just add a channel list & the magic part

Thanks for that , my v8s box came with the firmware on it already , so didn't need to put on any, as with the v5s I have to put it on that box ,

hi any help would be would be appreciated I have 2 open box v6 bought with v8 firmware put a gift in and list everything ok then the picture went after a few months but the gift still online and subtitles working on movie channels but as I say just a black screen can any one please help its in my kids room and there driving me mad

Hi, I have been asked by a friend to flash his F5s & his F3. I was just wanting to know if the latest firmware update for skybox F3s & F5s - 08/09/2015 will do both boxes or will I need different for the F3 please

Hi Superj I have openbox v6s when connected it worked fine for 4 hours turn off came back now shows 8 and red light on it. Got jack rs232 cable but its not working tried many times no joy. Is there any way of fixing this?

Whats the stick formatted to ?

This box hasn't had firmware update for years 2012 I think. There's one for s10 clone in openbox download section should be same.

Dear all.

I'm using openbox s10 for watching fta channels from Gsat-15 & Nss-6 + Ses-8. there is one TP 12050 H 45000 . This Tp I can't search. this tp channels are not stored.
Can any friend/ experts help me to catch few channels ?
