hi guys i bought a orton s10,put 20.5.11 firmware on and it now says openbox s10 and ive had no problem with it,can we put ANY s10 firmware on because there seems to be a few ?

it is safe to put any s10 filmware on any make of s10 as they are basically the same box

i thought S10 software can not be used for s9.
but S9 software can be used for S10

I just bought an openbox s10 but the pvr is not working i.e. grayed out even when I hook a USB device. Do I need this new firmware?

It may just be that your usb device isn't compatable with the box. They do seem quite picky as to what devices they'll recognise, those goodness knows why
