Openbox S10 Front of Box saying ON ??

Hi, recieved a openbox s10 today, decided to update firmware installed the ONPENBOX_S10_02_09_11.RAR on here, i did check my box chip is before flashing to make sure its genuine it is a 085b which is on the list, flashed fine ws working, was messing with menus it froze so pulled power out, on reboot it said clone and on screen it said your box is a clone,

now its stuck just saying on on front display ?

any ideas how to get it up again ? why this open if its genuine Chip ID

    THanks

Clone boxes show genuine chip numbers until they're flashed then they show FFFF as the number if your lucky to get through the boot process.

They can be recovered with older firmware and a flashing programme.

Has you box got a fixed or figure of 8 plug type power cable?

        Its a clone.

Only fixed cables are genuine. Just sent four back to Honk Konk.

The files attached above should sort it.

You need null modem and include the bootloader when flashing. It may take a number of attempts to break into the boot loop.

Extract the HDS2 and make sure it ends .abs. Flash like a dbox by hitting start then powering the box on.

Load the file into the loader, tick bootloader, hit start then power on the box (switch at the back is best).

Should say done at the top right of the loader then after 20-30 seconds it will start to load or fail. Usually takes four or five attempts.

You are getting there. The done at the top shows that a connection to the box is made. Just need to break the boot loop.

Use the back, switch the power off the box and hit start again then switch the power back on. After a few attempts it should kick in..

I've had three boxes come up with clone and used this software. Got failed a number of times but it did kick in and download. Once flashed the box would then upgrade or better downgrade back to the firmware supplied with the box.

When I've done it the fail took about what seemed like 20 seconds to appear.

When you click next try different delays before powering the box. ie. 1, 2 or 3 second..
