Hi, I just got my Openbox S10 yesterday. I am previously used to using a dreambox and am still learning how to use this receiver. I realize this thread has been running for a long time, but I want to thank you for making the tutorial. The manual that comes with this receiver is terrible.

Thanks OP, I have read the tutorial. Need a little further help.

Can I simply insert the key file as shown without any prior editing/changing of the default Openbox software? The S11 I have has got C2HS2-11-10-10:0579CMT as the software. Is there a patch that I need or some kind of better alternative software?

I have not connected the Openbox to any network, I hope this is not required. Thanks

try it on the box as it is mate, if they load ok then its all good,
You dont need to be connected to network for softcam to work

Is there an Openbox compatible softcam file that has E*PN Amer*ca on 19.2?

I have tried the last two updates on this thread but it does not open.

I followed the set up guide, I get the list of keys but they don't seem to do anything. I'm confused here.

Hi did you download the latest key above which xarkia posted on the 9th of may.. if so go to 19e and have a look on orf 1, 2, or 3 orf hd.. if they open then you have loaded the keys correctly, it would just be case off zapping through the channels to see what open and make a note of them, Keys don't last long and have probs. been updated since the 9th may, i will have a look and post updated ones on here

Yes I tried those keys, I've got the keys loaded but it apparently doesn't do anything. I've got orf, cnl+ marked as scrambled.

I think they are down . They work on tm1500+ with a newer update. Does anyone know how to convert the softcam to a openbox compatible format.
