anyone got an openbox x5 ? Its been working fine for nearly a year... however since two days a couple of channels like Colors (asian) are just showing a picture and no idea. I then rescanned and the openbox didnt even pick up those channels and now they dont appear on the channel list at all. When import the old channel lists (via usb stick)... the missed channels re-appear.... but still the same problem.... no audio on them.... all the others work fine....
Sorry have not been online as at moment work is chaotic in the business Im in and until after xmas well into new year It will be difficult to do anything although I have peeped in without logging on. Saying that I have just uploaded my last channel list onto a friends box earlier this evening and almost all the channels apart from one or two minor ones are working fine.
If its asian ones you are having problems with then I have been told that some places with the magic file are having difficulties with clearing certain asian channels due to the way sly is transmitting but I could be wrong or rather my info could be wrong, all I can say is my place of magic all channels with this list are working fine apart from one or two as I said so seems the list is almost upto date.
If there is any particular channels you want to draw my attention to just mention and I'l try and have a look.
so you can use catseyes lists for f5s or am i misunderstanding your last reply
I am afraid you cannot Catseye settings only work on Linux Enigma2 receivers to get something similar for the Skybox/Openbox range of receivers you would have to construct your own, My reply to the other question was in that there are channel lists available for Linux E2 especially Motorised Lists
