Thats what i am doing slugworth thanks, i cant seem to sort this vformat and cant change to rgb, have got server subscription till september and nothing to watch it on, i dont want to have to buy a new box, which is looking most likely

Am using the eromupgrade with a rs232 cable, thanks slugworth, i just want my tv back, i got an openbox because they are easy , i had a dreambox for 3 weeks and got rid because i couldnt be bothered messing around, and now this has gone t*ts up, have nearly slung the box a few times today, it just wont go back to 1080_60 and i cant do anything from the tv end of things

I use the composite outputs to an old tv,they say that is easier to set initially.

Hi all, just to update, i bought a rgb cable off ebay and plugged it in, to the box and it worked, picture up, box back up and running, but even tho the formats change, when i press the vformat button it doesnt work on hdmi, so is it that my hdmi connection is broken or something else, and if its something else, is there anything i can do about it, many thanks for all the help given off those concerned.
