      ram

My receiver has (2) 64MB ram chips.
If your receiver has(had) 1gig of ram it isn't all being used.
The loader, channel editor, lan manager all came from stbhd.com
so I assume they were the source.

        @mrfarnhigh

        RAM: DDR2-1Gbit
        1 Gbit = 128 MByte (1 Gbit / 8 = 128 MB)

        Seriously...

              Back on topic.

Put this on my S11 today. Seems ok, maybe a slight improvement on layout and picture, but I can see very little difference TBH.

Can't for the life of me work out how to edit the menu name for "Fav 1" "Fav 2" into Entertainment, HD Channels etc...? I could do it on the original FW, but not sussing it on this custom image!

If I can suss that bit, I'll probably stick with this FW, if not, I'll drop back to original FW.

Nice one Shady, thanks. I got there in the end. All up and running and in my boys room now.

Now, if only I could find out how to use STBEdit and DreamEdit to convert SgtFlipFlops bouquets into the S11...

                          Fixed!

After bricking my s10, i used the software Upgrade_PVR800 HD Tool to breathe back life into my box, i tried this firmware and all worked well apart from my skycard, it would't unscramble the channels, so i reverted back to HDS2_SCMT_20110315 the march firmware and all works perfect especially the HD sky sport channels.

Please excuse my ignorance, but can I install the clone safe
                              HDS2_S9_by_anonymouSX.rar on my S11, CCID is ff00 which I believe means it's a clone.

Ok I installed the HDS2_S10_by_anonymouSX.rar on my openbox S11 but all menus were greyed out (except upgrade by USB so I was able to drop back to my original firmware)
                                original firmware is HDS2-10-10-20:0747CMT

guess I need to wait for someone to bring out a S11 version.
