if your box has firware already on it orr not your going to need usb stick to really use box to its full potential 1st do you have usb stick

It's a new box with uk channel list installed and yeh I have usb stick.I can watch few satellite channels but I can't watch or use it's full potential.Do I have to installed any specific firmware via usb stick and connect to any specific server?

Hi, I have an Openbox S11, with this channel list is it possible to still have the recording function to work?

If not, do you know how I could make it work using this channel list?

The recording problems have been fixed, it was because I removed the scrambled flags from the channels. If you mean you literally can't record have you definitely got a suitable external drive plugged in? If so try updating your firmware.

is it that easy do i have to re enter the server etc as i dont no the details just box was fitted and installed. is it just case off delete channel list and re install ??

Channel list upgrades should only effect the channels, only firmware upgrades effect your cccam details etc.

You can't talk about that here, google cccamm server.

I think you can only do that from the computer with a channel editor.

seems good to me, thank you. eurosport 3d is coming up as scrambled tho, dunno if that is my setup or it isn't enabled yet

There's a few about but all way out of date I think, if you only want it for the footy you could just scan the transponders that those channels are on.

Channel editing

Hi AJ,

Used your list to build myself a channel list for the Scottish region, although had to do this on my box. Have you got a channel list editor to recommend I could use? I'm on an openbox S11.

Looking to get the Olympic HD channels added onto the list but not sure about doing it by manually scanning on the box incase it just overwrites it and/or doesn't let me add it onto the current channel list.

It's either that or if you're interested in upkeeping a Scottish list and I can send you it.

Would it not be easier to update to my latest list & just move the Scottish channels rather than keeping your list & manually updating? If you only want a few channels then you should just scan those transponders & they'll be added to the end of your current list, you can find out the transponder info at KingOfSat LINK

SetEditHD100 is the best editor but isn't free unlike AliEditor which is & should do everything you need anyway. Check the attached file.
