hi i did this after uploading the latest channel list it worked to start with but now all my hd channels are scrambled and won't re-scan and unscramble
any idear whats gone wrong

I think i realise whats going on with loads of different channels working for some and not others, reinstall the channel list again and let me know if the channels start working again. Don't reset to default this time

hi i have just done that and it said the same,
i just had a quick skim through the settings,
my Ethernet was not active and my ccam menu was hidden i switched the ethernet back on,
i checked the box downstairs to see if any settings were different and that one has stopped working as well
the ccam says offline on both does this help any
also i have not touched the box downstairs

Sky PPV events does not work for some reason. Says it is scrambled, Anyone have the same issue

@bold - I disagree with you on that one. Other possible explainations could be

a) The channel freq has changed again and this has not been included on the 5/10 list before the channel list went Live
b) The channel freq on the 4/10 list was the correct one, but somehow it hasn't carried to the 5/10 list.

wouldn't it show "no signal" if your theory is to be beleived ?

I have noticed that when you set your box back to factory settings, it also sets other things back to default, BUT changing the other menu settings back to where you want them will not save to memory unless you turn the box off & on again before making the changes.

So, after setting the box to Factory settings, switch it off & on again. Then reset DHCP back to ON, reset Local Time Setting back to UK, & press 6666 when Network Local Setting selected to get other option to appear. Not sure if it resets the PIN as I always leave it on 0000. Subtitles will also default to ON.

On my S11 box, it also resets TV system back to 1080i_60.

I think AJ is only saving his channel list to the user database and when people are factory resetting the default database is being copied over making some of the channels not work and channels that were delete months ago reappear ie premier sports Xtra

i think the factory reset wiped my settings out, i need to get the Ccam settings from somewhere ?
i did not touch the identical f5 box i have downstairs though and thats doing the same.

I have just noticed that the "scrambled" message appears again after scrolling through a number of channels. This was fixed when you did your first temporary list on 25th August sattv5 ( http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ml#post2071978 ), but it's doing it again! The only way to get it working again, is to switch the box off & on.

sattv5...Did you know what caused this problem in the first place? Is there a way to cure this myself? Your "$ly numbered" list doesn't do this when flicking through the channels.

The fact that the box that you did nothing to is also doing the same suggests that it's your internet connection (router), or your gift supplier.

Are you using the same gift details for both boxes? If so, did you check with your gift supplier that you could run more than 1 box?

i bought them both from same guy on flee bay the were both advertised with 12 month gift i checked the day i got them he said that it was ok to run both
they were both working until i did the factory re set to sort my channel list out last night after i updated with ajs list
i e mailed the guy but hes not replied

I think it something to do with the PVR Channel editor and the way it stores the channels, its a hacked version of the ali eitor and is really only meant to read abs files like most of the other editors. The only way to fix is a new list or patch one that was working.

Updated today's moved Channels (Peace TV/Peace TV Urdu)

Yes. This is the latest.

Use winrar to unpack the file. It will unpack to a folder containing Favourites.jpg & TP_PROG.dbs. Copy TP_PROG.dbs to a memory stick. Insert stick into box. In the menu, select Edit channel > delete all. Select Tools > upgrade by USB > upgrade mode = misc. files. "Select & Upgrade" = TP_PROG.dbs. Press green or OK to tick. Press yellow to upgrade. Wait for file to be transfered. Press info to check that file was transfered. If you press Exit a few times, you will notice that it still says that you have no channels. Put box into standby for a few seconds then back to on.
