Either the network connection is a bit iffy (best to use wired rather than wifi) or more than likely the server you connect to is poor.

        hi,
on a similar note i get a 'freeze' or pixellation on the screen now and again where it lags for a second and then it goes back to normal. would this be router related too?

this also happens to me, when i trun box off and back on everything is then fine, got mine connected via net plugs.
other than this everything is fine, its just now and again.

I still have the same problem too, i changed the firmware to the last one ( 08-08-2012) and tried also with another c-lines but the problem remains with " scrambled channel " and after 10 sec thats ok again ( my DM800 works well with the same c-lines ).

Have you tried the "scooby snack" firmware, I was having similar problems and was told about this firmware and it seems to have solved this issue.

the simple answer to all your glitching queries is the box isn't getting the key information quick enough this can be caused by many factors isp problems, weather conditions equipment, cabling, dish condition etc how you connect wifi ethernet, your server., firmware. one all or a combination of these can cause problems as best you can eliminate them one at a time to get fix thats right for you remember it might be a server issue for you and an isp for someone else and so on
